While working on a TV history of makeover shows, Alice Hahn, a researcher discovers a mysterious unbroadcast pilot about couple therapy called “Redesign Your Life”, which destroyed the contributors’ lives. She pieces together the fragments of footage and tracks down the unscrupulous producers, therapists and finally the damaged contributors.
